RICHARD, Mr. Curtis - Age 23, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11 a.m. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Richard will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8 p.m. Monday. Mr. Curtis T. Richard was born January 28, 1988 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Peggy R. Richard and Curtis Walker. Curtis was a resident of Flint and attended House of Prayer. He graduated from Beecher High School, “Class of 2006.” Curtis was employed at Beecher Branch Salvation Army. He enjoyed music, dancing, and drawing. Curtis was a people person who enjoyed being with his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory: girlfriend, Marquetta Jackson of Flint; mothers, Peggy R. Richard and Peggy S. Richard; fathers, Curtis Walker and John Rutherford; grandparents, Edna Walker of Philadelphia, MS; 5 sisters, Shadonna McCoy of Flint, Kenya Nunn of Montgomery, AL, Trina Walker of Grand Rapids, MI, LaToya Cotton of Saginaw, MI and Kesha Walker of Philadelphia, MS; 6 brothers, Eric Cobbins of Flint, Curtis Walker, Jr. of Saginaw, MI, Anthony Walker of Atlanta, GA, Julius of Arkansas and Deonte Brown of Flint; a host of nieces and nephews; 5 aunts, Betsy Peoples of Flint, Annette Walker of Philadelphia, MS, Henry Hill of Flint, Mary Thomas of Little Rock, AR and Reba Walker of Flint; 2 uncles, James Richard of Flint and Odell Walker of Philadelphia, MS; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Lil Larry, Raymo, Denzell, Kris, Jeremiah, Ellis and a host of others. Mr. Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Richard and John Walker; great-grandparents, Annie Ivory, Sam and Betsy Richard; aunt, Linda Richard; uncle, Darren Richard; a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins.
