Mr. Coy Chester "Blue" Hildreth

HILDRETH, Mr. Coy Chester "Blue" - Age 67, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at his residence. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Agape God's Love Church of God In Christ, 3641 Wyoming Ave., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Hildreth will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. to receive friends. Mr. Coy Chester Hildreth, age 67 of Flint Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 1, 1948, in Magnolia, Arkansas, the son of the late Clarence Hildreth, Sr. and the late Bethene Mullins. Coy graduated from Magnolia High School in Arkansas. He moved to Flint Michigan in 1966. Coy was employed at General Motors in Flint Michigan for 38 years before he retired in 2006. He was a hard worker and was very outgoing. Coy enjoyed road trips, dancing, spending time with family, friends and bowling was his passion. He was a member of Grace Deliverance Church Of God In Christ (COGIC). Mr. Coy Chester Hildreth leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Ella Mae Hildreth; 2 sons and 3 daughters, Coy (Felisha) Meeks, Jermaine (Teri) Hildreth, Jo Ann Hildreth, Christine (Derrick) Watkins, Tondalaya Mize; 3 brothers, Troy Hildreth, all of Flint, Clarence (Barbra) Hildreth II of Union City, CA and Kenneth Hildreth of Oakland, CA; 4 sisters, Pauline (James) Fogle of Flint, Flossie Benton of Las Vegas, NV, Lillie (Earnest) Taylor of Oakland CA and Karol Modica of Little Rock, AR; 2 aunts, Mozzie Slaughter of Houston, TX and Ollie Evans of Detroit, MI; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Hildreth was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hildreth, Sr.; mother, Bethene Mullins; 3 brothers, Leo Hildreth, Cleo Hildreth and Archie Hildreth.
