GAINER, Mr. Cornelius, Sr. - Age 24, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2007. Memorial Service 6PM-7PM Monday, May 14, 2007 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. Pastor Roosevelt Deloach officiating. Interment St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 6PM Monday. Mr. Gainer will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home., and may be viewed from 12Noon-6PM Monday. Mr. Cornelius Dante Gainer, Sr. was born to the late Bobby Gainer, Sr., and Dorothy Gainer Jackson in Flint, Michigan on April 21, 1983. Cornelius was quiet, kind, respectful, fun and a loving young man. He had a smile and personality that gave him a glow. "Poncho" attended Flint Public Schools, graduating from Mott Adult High School. He took great joy in being a father, spending time with his son, and had a passion for basketball. He was loved by many. Cornelius accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was baptized at Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James Milledge. Mr. Cornelius Dante Gainer, Sr. leaves to cherish his memories: son, Cornelius Donte Gainer, Jr. who he loved and cherished; loving and devoted parents, Mr. & Mrs. Alvin and Dorothy Gainer-Jackson, III; brother, Bobby Gainer, II; stepbrother, Alvin Jackson, IV; stepsisters, Natasha (Eld.
