GRAHAM, Mrs. Corean - Age 96, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Kith Haven. Family hour 11:00 AM Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Greater Holy Temple COGIC, 6702 N. Dort Highway, Flint MI with funeral service commencing at 12:00 PM. Interment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Highway, Mount Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church at 11:00 AM Thursday. Mrs. Corean Graham will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-8:00 PM with family present to receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Mrs. Corean (Curtis) Graham affectionately known as “Dinky” was born August 16, 1920 in Meridian, Mississippi, the daughter of Daniel and Annie (Watkins) Curtis. She attended school in Meridian, MS. Corean married Roger Clinton Graham and their union produced 3 children, Annie, Helen and Earl Clinton Graham. In the 1950’s, Mrs. Graham relocated to Flint, Michigan. She accepted Christ at an early age. Corean worked as a Counselor for Planned Parenthood retiring after many years of service. She was an officer with the Elks Club. Corean was a step-mother to Charles, Rose, Randy, Marilyn, Michael, Eddie and Kimberly. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, cooking, fishing and going on picnics. Corean also enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Mrs. Corean Graham leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Annie Terrell of Burton, MI and Helen (Robert) Williams of Meridian, MS; 10 grandchildren, Ann (Willie) Thornton, Anthony (Cynthia) Thornton, Alexander Thornton, all off Flint, Althea (Tim) Steward, Yolanda Hall, all of Ypsilanti, MI, Tina Marie Meeks, and Martin O. Meeks, both of Flint; 14 great-grandchildren; and 45 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Ms. Betty Gerald and family, Jimmie Holiday and family, Missouri and Horace Anderson family, Theodore and Emma Wiley family, Norman Booker and family, Earl Watson and family, and the Wiley family. Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Clinton Graham; son, Earl Clinton Graham; grandsons, Alvin “James” Thornton, and Earnest “Neno” Spencer; great-granddaughter, Ebonie Baldwin. The family would like to express special thanks to Kith Haven staff, Dr. Pasquel Perez and nurse, Moe Campbell, Charles of Kith Haven. Also a special thanks to the Wiley family, Bishop Roger L.
