MOORE, Mr. Christopher Wayne "Showtime", "Mohammad Ali" - Age 69, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Tuesday. Mr. Moore will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday. Break for a family and friends check. As you read my Life of Legacy I, Christopher Wayne “Mohammad Ali” Moore, would like you to listen closely and hear what’s being said in my voice. Well done! My Lord said to me. Well done good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord (Matthew 25:23, KJV). It all begun on May 7, 1951. I was born to the late Frederick Caldwell and Gloria Moore, in Flint, Michigan. On July 19, 2020 I made my transition and went 10/7 on life, peacefully in my doze. Don’t get “Chris Moe” wrong. I loved life, and I lived life. And as I’ve always said, “Every shut eye isn’t sleep” remember that! The summer of 1968 I met a young lady name Patricia Newton whom later became “The love of my life”. She was riding a motorcycle down the street in the St. John area. In 1969, I hired in General Motors Buick Division, and being such the hard worker I was, I injured myself, which landed me in the hospital for about 45 days. Upon my return back to Central High School (graduating in 1969), I reunited with Pat and she became my wife on my birthday; May 7, 1971. With that Union, two children were born. My #1 son, Christopher T. Moore, and my loving daughter Patrice L. Moore. My children blessed me with three grandchildren; Christopher W. Moore II, Alisha J. Washington, and Aliyah E. Roshell. My granddaughter Alisha, blessed me with my 1st Great-grandson Demar R. Ford Jr. There was absolutely NOTHING I wouldn’t do for my family! Let not your hearts be troubled. I told you just a little about me because; if you don’t know me by now, you will never know me. Thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown, I appreciate you, and Mohammad Ali is back out!!!!!
