DAVIS, Mr. Christian Ian - Age 24, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Holy Hill Church Of God In Christ, 4323 Davison Rd., Burton, MI. with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Supt. Louis Bishop officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Davis will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Christian Lan Davis was born October 18, 1989 in Flint, Michigan to the parents Gwendolyn (William) Howard and Donell Green. Christian was a member of the Greater All Nations Prayer Tower C.O.G.I.C. He attended Flint Schools and was employed at local factories in Flint and last in Durand, MI. He loved music and being with family, friends and his precious daughter. Mr. Christian Lan Davis leaves to cherish his memory; mother, Gwendolyn Howard; father, Donell Green; daughter, Zyaire Imani Davis (mother of his daughter, Latrecia Woodley); grandmothers, Jean Latchison and Dorothy Green; 10 sisters, Pat (Chester) Moore, Renee Howard, Pam (Charles) McBride, Linda “NeNe” Bracy, Rhonda (Marty) Lowe, Jacqueline House, Trina Powell, Kim Green Sartisha; 6 brothers, Dennis (Connie) Howard, Roderick Howard, Derrick Relerford, Michael Horton, Brandon Green, Travelle Green; god-parents; aunts, Carolyn Latchison and Carolyn Green; uncles, Jerome (Audrey) Latchison, David (Rose) Latchision and Timothy Latchison; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; special son, Devonte’ McNeal. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father, William Howard; grandparents, Zonnie and Cleave Latchison; uncle, Jimmy Collins. You cannot possibly know just how much your support our family, our many friends, our church families - have meant to us in this most difficult time.
