RAINES, Ms. Chondralynn Polandecia - Age 53, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025 at her residence. Ms. Raines will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Ms. Chondralynn Polandecia Raines was born January 27, 1972, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the daughter of Neal Davis and Lauralean Raines. She attended Flint School of Choice. Chondralynn professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined True Gospel Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member. She was employed at Burger King after so many years of dedicated service she was promoted to management, as a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality. Chondralynn was loved by many. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life on Monday, August 18, 2025, at her home in Flint. Chondralynn was the life of the party and kept a smile on everyone’s face. Ms. Chondralynn Polandecia Raines leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Keith Brown of Flint; 3 daughters, Polandcia Raines-Knight, Ronnisha Jones and Latoya Henderson; sons, Timothy Raines, Ronnie Jones and Antonio Morgan; step-son, Kewon Brown; grandchildren, D’arieon Thornton-Raines, Makenzie Jones, Zymere Callaway, Timothy Raines II, Lailani Jones, Taniya Orr and Shatia Morgan; mother, Lauralean Raines; father, Neal Davis; 2 sisters, DonnaLynn Surray and Tanyarelynn Raines; 2 brothers, Kachino Raines and James Surray; 4 nieces, Katrina Raines, Ramona Surray, Alicia Surray and Aqueriana Griffin Raines; 2 nephews, Kachindo Hollman of Atlanta and Kachindo Raines Jr. of Flint; 3 aunts, Delores Raines, Annie Bell and Linda Raines; 3 uncles, Leon Raines of Grand Rapids, MI, Lonnie B. Raines of Benton Harbor, MI, Willie B. Raines of Kissimmee, FL and Clarence Raines; 8 cousins, Priscilla Raines, Kawanda Raines, Tarias Raines, Jatiya Davis Raines, Damazha Boone-Raines, Dereck Wade-Raines, Wednesday Caldwell, Amy Caldwell, Fredricka Russell, Charles Bell, Kenyatt Bell, Trinity Raines and Ziontay Raines; 2 sisters-in-law, Regina Knight and Audrey Odom; brother-in-law, Michael Griffin; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Lashon Horton, Kendra Fisher, Jason Shango, Joey Shango, Toddy, Crystal Handley and Jay Morris; and daughter-in-law, Jasmyn James. Ms. Raines was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Jones; grandmother, Clydie Crayton; aunts, Annie Bell and Linda Raines; uncles, Leon Raines, Willie B. Raines, Clarence Raines and Lonnie B.
