RELEFORD, Mr. Charles Eugene - Age 34, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2007 at his residence. Family hour 10:30AM Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Wednesday. Mr. Releford will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Tuesday. Mr. Charles Eugene Releford, III was born January 16, 1973 in Flint Michigan, the son of Charles Releford, II and Clara Moore. Charles was a resident of Mt. Morris, MI. He was baptized at Gospel Temple Baptist Church. He received an Associate Degree from Mott Community College and was enrolled at Davenport University pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Programming. Charles enjoyed cooking, baking, barbequing, fishing and golfing. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Charles was employed with UPS for 7 years. Mr. Charles Eugene Releford leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Michelle Releford of Mt. Morris, MI; daughter, Tiaaira; 2 sons, Terance and Nathaniel; parents, Clara and Samuel Moore; sister, Donette L. (Nick) Mabry, Sr.; niece, Nia S. Mabry; 2 nephews, Nick Mabry, Jr. and Nahji Mabry; 7 aunts, Vera Hamlett, Barbara Summerville, Yvvonne Mitchell, Stephanie Mitchell, Phyllis Oliver, Pat Oliver and Bonnie Wright; uncle, Will Hamlett; cousins, Allen and Lonell Hamlett, Alphonso Wright, Ruby J. Releford, Brenda Redwine, Rene Releford, Jo-Ann Wright and Tony Benjamin; mother-in-law, Dorothy Gordon-Goolsby of Mt. Morris; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Goolsby of Mt. Morris and D'Nisha Freeman of Kansas City, MO; brothers-in-law, Steven Gordon of Georgia, Keric Freeman of Rome, GA and Kevin King of Chillicothe, OH; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Lonell and Allen Hamlett, Clark Newton and Leroy. Mr. Releford was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Releford II; father-in-law, Rev. Jessie J. Freeman.
