GREER, Mr. Charles Duane - Age 55, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his residence in Saline, MI. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, December 29, 2018 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Mr. Greer will lie in stat in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 1:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday. Mr. Charles Duane Greer was born May 22, 1963 in Ann Arbor, Michigan at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Jerry and Katie Greer. He graduated from Huron High School in 1981/1982. Charles loved God and was a 7th Day Adventist, 2796 Packard, Ann Arbor, MI 48108 and 7th Day Adventist, G-4285 Beecher, Flint, MI 48532. He loved his grandbaby’s and family time. Charles also loved music and his movie series was Friday; he would watch them or repeat, he knew all the word to all of them. Charles also loved to cook and Barbecue was his specialty. U of M was his #1 team. He played football and ran track in high school. Charles was such a loving caring person, there was nothing that he wouldn’t do for someone if he had the power to do it. He always went up and beyond for his family. Charles was in a loving caring relationship with Carrie Gould when he passed away. He went out in style, every man’s dream to die that way. Mr. Charles Duane Greer leaves to cherish his memory: 3 daughters, Tania Greer, Shameka Greer and Jaime Hodge; 2 sons, Jose Greer and Aaron Mitchell; 3 step-children, Brian Rowlands, Derek Rowlands and Tommie Rowlands; 9 grandchildren, Leanna Kozlowski, Savanna Ramirez, Zachary S. Kozlowski Jr., TayShaun Hoysinger, Isaiah Kozlowski, Syanna Ramirez, Stella Hoysinger and Gracie Hoysinger (twins) and Korina Hoysinger; grandfather, Jim Campbell; 3 sisters, Kayla Greer, Tanya Greer and Fredia Campbell; brother, Gearld Greer; sisters-in-law, Gina, Dia, Jojo, Laurie, Beth, Dorthy and Miky; brothers-in-law, Don and Leeroy; niece, Shonda; nephews, Rico, Tony, Delano and Jermaine Kersein; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Sameka Greer, Jose Greer, Tania Greer, Gina Benavidez, Brandon Sage Tanya Greer. Mr. Greer was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jerry and Katie Greer; baby sister, Kayla Greer; brother, Jerry Greer Jr.; mother-in-law, Barbara Ahearn; father-in-law, Jose Benavidez; best friend/brother, Brett Miller; Janie Rowlands along with aunts, uncles and a host family and friends.
