SHAW, Ms. Carol - Age 56, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Ms. Shaw will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Friday, May 15, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Ms. Carol “Carolyn” Shaw was born in Flint, MI on March 16, 1964, the daughter of Hamp Shaw II and Earmidee Johnson. She received Christ at an early age. Carol graduated from Genesee Intermediate Learn Center. She enjoyed traveling, being around family, dancing, going to Wal-mart and getting new shoes and shoelaces. Most of all she enjoyed watching her movies on her DVD player. Her all time favorite movie; no matter how many copies that she owned was “Home Alone” and her new favorite was The Chipmunks. Ms. Carol Shaw leaves to cherish in memories of 5 sisters: Diane Newell, Lillette (Darwin) McMullen of Flint, MI, Kimberly (Courtney Pouncy) Shaw Murfreesboro, TN, Ezeraletta Johnson of Las Vegas, NV, Tammy Johnson of St. Louis, MO; 6 brothers: Hamp Shaw III, Carlton Sr. (Lola) Shaw of Chicago, IL, Clarence Sr. (Chiffon) Wilson, Shawn (Annette) Wilson, Derek Johnson and Ralph Johnson; special aunts and uncles, Dorothy Montjoy and Ed Shaw; nieces and nephews, Niquai (Albert) Shaw, Carlton (Imani) Shaw II, Deonna (Jacoby) Ponder, Turkessa Newell, Antoine (Wanda) Shaw, DeQuandr’e Newell, Porcelyn Shaw, Martina Shaw, Clarence Wilson II, Darwin McMullen Jr., Jasmine Newell, Jevonta (Shantavia) Shaw-Newell, Hamp Shaw IV, Khadijah Shaw, Courtney Pouncy, Jaron Wilson, Deondrick (Briona) Ross, Lea Brown, Kobe Ross, Wanya Collins, Iyyair Collins, Carlton Shaw III, Niasia Brown, Dezariah McMullen, Cayden McMullen, Antoine Shaw II, Cayden Shaw, Darwin McMullen III, Kahlil Shaw; a host of other family and friends including best friend, George Pouncy, special friends, Albert Ross, Sheryl Shaw, Kelly Taylor, Gladys Jackson and Tara. Ms. Carol Shaw was preceded in death by her parents, mother, Earmidee Johnson and father, Hamp Shaw Jr.; step-father, Willie H.
