BOONE, Ms. Carlene Marie - Age 51, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 1:30 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Family and friends will assemble 1:30 PM Wednesday. Ms. Boone will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed during family hour only.Ms. Carlene Marie Boone was born on April 29, 1965; the first twin born to Clifford & Addie Jean Boone. She was born in Toledo Ohio, where she spent her youngest years. Her family later moved to Flint Michigan, where she attended Flint Schools and later completed Job Corps training in Dayton, Ohio. Carlene was a warm and loving person, with a sensitive nature. She cared for others when she could and was a licensed CNA. She also had a strong compassion for dogs, always having one as a pet. She enjoyed skating, fishing, reading, movies and especially family gatherings. Her life was centered around her sisters and a few close friends. She will always be remembered by her quick smile and witty sense of humor. Ms. Carlene Marie Boone leaves to cherish her memory: father, Clifford Boone; sisters, Arlene (Barry) Cannon, Candice Boone, Stephanie Morgan Baum and Bernadette Boone; brother, Clifford Boone; niece, Candisha Boone Tolbert; nephews, Barry (Brittney) Boone and Avontez Boone; great-niece, Kamryn Wade; great-nephew, Isaiah Nagle; a host of other nieces and nephews; uncles, Otha (Verbie) Hunter, Albert (Brenda) Hunter, Herbert (Jackie) McClellan and Carl Coleman; aunt, Alberta (Earl) Hopings; cousins, Marcella Pendergrass, Gina Hogan, Deborah Taylor, Teresa (Larry) Sanders, Carla (Charles) Jackson, Renee (Mike) Simmons, Tracy McClellan, Dawn Dye, Herbert (Tammy) McClellan, Kimberly Hunter, Kaye Hunter, Albert (Honore’) Hunter, Nicole (Phillip) Holman, Charae Gatson, Shellie Jefferson, Kelly Powell; a host of other cousins.
