LeSEARS, Mr. Calvin L., Jr. - Age 44, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at his residence. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, September 5, 2009 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM, Bro. Derrick Hamm officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Saturday. Mr. LeSears will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Mr. Calvin Lee LeSears, Jr. was born February 23, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Lucille and Calvin LeSears. Calvin moved to Flint, Michigan in 1969 at the age of 4. He attended Flint Public Schools and graduated from Flint Northern High School. Calvin had a love for cars at a young age. His interest in cars expanded as he worked in his father’s detail shop, where he began cleaning and working on cars. He was a very loving and kind man who enjoyed life, being with family, traveling and giving his “famous car wash”. Mr. Calvin Lee LeSears, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Danesha LeSears of Lango, FL and Crystal LeSears; 2 sons, Calvin J. LeSears III and Aurmany LeSears; 3 grandchildren, Cheyenne A. Smith, Brion J. Smith, all of Flint and Da’Shawn C. Fortt-LeSears of Fort Smith, IN; mother, Lucille LeSears of Flint; 2 brothers, Paul LeSears of Nashville TN and Travis LeSears; 2 sisters, Alecian and Tonya LeSears, all of Flint; niece, JaNetta Clark-LeSears; great-niece, Mahoganie D. Johnson; 3 nephews, Tomme LeSears, Terrance Allen, both of Kansas City, MO and Antonio A. LeSears; great-nephew, Markeqeon Blanks, both of Flint; 3 aunts, Juanita Johnson, Lillian Silmon, both of Tulsa, OK and Odessa Nix; 4 uncles, James B. (Barbara) Nix, Rufus (Gladys) Nix, Frank (Lula Mae) Nix, all of Kansas City MO, Harvey Paul (Bobby Jean) Nix of Chino, CA; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. LeSears was preceded in death by his father, Calvin LeSears; sister, April LeSears; grandmothers, Macy Nix and Vernell LeSears; grandfather, Harvey Nix and Leroy LeSears; and mother of his four children, Marilyn Hill.
