JONES, Mr. Bryant Keith - Age 51, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at his residence. Family hour 1:30PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2PM. Pastor Morris Collins, officiating. Friends and family will assemble at the funeral home 1:30PM Thursday. Mr. Jones will lie in state in the chapel and may be viewed 12PM-8PM Wednesday. Mr. Bryant Keith Jones “Doe Boy” was born February 24, 1967 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Edward and Delores Jones. He attended Flint Northern High School. Bryant enjoyed doing construction work, one of his latest projects included The Empire Event Center. He enjoyed playing video games and watching Sci-Fi Movies. Spending time with family and friends was one his favorite things to do; especially his grandsons. Bryant was a good cook and very generous with his delicious meals, he would feed family, friends and his neighbors. Everyone loved Bryant aka “Doe”. Mr. Bryant Keith Jones “Doe Boy” leaves to cherish his memory: former wife, Traci Threlkeld Jones; daughter, Brionna Threlkeld, both of Flint; 2 sons, Justin Threlkeld of Gadsden, AL and Jason Threlkeld of Ypsilanti, MI; 4 grandchildren, Jarelle Cleveland II and Zachary Threlkeld, both of Flint, Brentley Jones and Jaylen Threlkeld, both of Gadsden, AL; 4 sisters, Kathy Jones, Debra Givens, Caroline Jones and Yolanda Jones; 2 brothers, John Brooks and Marvin Jones; 5 nieces; 5 nephews; 10 great-nieces; 9 great-nephews; mother-in-law, Patricia “Mommie” Threlkeld; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Raymond “Pain” McGee, Dorothy “Mama” McGee, James “Punnie” Gardner, Sam “Red” Griffin and Keona “Blue” Taylor. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Delores Jones; 2 sisters, Johnetta Jones and Edwina Jones; 2 brothers, Maurice Givens and Ronnie Jones; and special sister-in-law, Jamie Craig-Tucker. The family would like to express special thanks to Heart-to-Heart Hospice, Hurley Medical Center, Hurley Cancer Institute, Pastor Morris Collins and the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church family, the McGee family with extra special thanks to Chenita “Chee Chee” Jones for her love, care, patience and dedication to Bryant until the very end.
