SIMPSON, Ms. Brenda Sue - Age 50, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at her residence. Family hour 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Heavenly Host Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2202 W. Dartmouth St., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Elder Lequin Williams Sr. officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Association, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Saturday. Ms. Simpson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday. Ms. Brenda Sue “Bam” Simpson was born November 17, 1964 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Aaron Williams and Euleen Simpson. She departed this life June 6, 2015. Brenda attended Flint Central High School. She gave her life to the Lord in 2014 and was a member of Heavenly Host Full Gospel Baptist Church. Brenda loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and father. She also enjoyed cooking, going to the casino and playing Candy Crush Saga. Ms. Brenda Sue “Bam” Simpson leaves to cherish her memory: 2 children, Jerome Clifford Simpson and Monica Shawnta Robertson both of Flint; grandchildren, Amarious Simpson, Tyrone Robertson Jr., Taylor White, and Amaya White, all of Flint, Imani-Rose Simpson of Detroit, MI and Jordan Simpson of Alabama; father, Aaron Williams of Flint; 3 sisters, Sandra (Bobby) Wells and Antonette Cook, all of Flint, and Patricia (Myron) Stinson of Bloomington, IN; 5 brothers, Aaron Jr. and Joey Williams both of Flint, Harvey (Brenda) Simpson of Utah, Rickey Simpson of California and Bruce Williams of Bloomington, IN; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special cousin, Ramon Munerlyn. Ms. Brenda Sue “Bam” Simpson was preceded in death by her sons, Joey and Tyrone Robertson; mother, Euleen Simpson; and aunt, Ardelia Mary Francis Munerlyn. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Genesys Cancer Institute, Henry Ford Hospital, Tiffany Johnson, Jolia Schaaf, Pastor LeQuin R.
