WILLIAMS, Mr. Brandon Z'erome - Age 28, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Family hour 1:30 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Pastor Clarence Lee, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Tuesday. Mr. Williams will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday. Mr. Brandon Z’erome Williams was born July 24, 1992 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Lyndava D. Williams and Vernon J. Beasley. Brandon passed away on September 15, 2020. A beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, partner and friend, Brandon was deeply loyal, compassionate, and always willing to help others. He attended Flint Community Schools and graduated from Carman-Ainsworth High School in 2010. Upon graduation, Brandon worked a variety of jobs finally settling into a career in the transportation and trucking industry. During his teens and early adulthood, he became active in social justice and community causes, serving as a RAISE IT UP! Youth Community Organizer (President) and a Planned Parenthood Peer Educator. In his spare time, he loved playing basketball, listening to music, gaming, making people laugh, and spending time with his family and friends. He developed strong bonds with people of all ages and walks of life. Brandon had a big heart and powerful spirit that was felt and loved by so many people around him. His presence will be dearly missed. Mr. Brandon Z’erome Williams leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Lyndava D. Williams and Vernon J. Beasley; 2 sisters, Natasha L. Thomas of Flint and Whitney L. Williams (Anthony Nash) of Detroit, MI; brother, Quintell Carter; 3 nieces, Zoelle Nash of Detroit, MI, Donovan Jackson, and Christina Carter, both of Flint; 8 nephews, Masai Clayborne, Nassir Thomas-Jackson, Zayden Nash, all of Flint, Akari Carter, Imier Carter, Onor Carter, Josiah Carter; 3 aunts, Sondra M. Ellison, all of Flint, Dava M. Morrison of Florida and Arnette Coleman of Chicago, IL; 5 uncles, Maurice Ellison of Flint, Eldridge Beasley, Darryl Beasley, both of Chicago, IL, Baldwin Seals of Flint and Victor Seals of Minnesota; 4 great-aunts, Cheryl (Charles) Blackmon, Cynthia Luckette, all of Illinois, Carole Geary of Maryland and Carrie Lynn King of Flint; a host of cousins including, Sierra Ellison, Aaron Ellison, both of Flint, Quinn Evans, Amber Evans of Florida, Camarrie King, A.J. King, both Flint and Javar McGee of Atlanta; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Joel Stewart, Sharrdae Jones, Cameron McHenry, Anton Bruce, DeQuann Peterson, Davion Owens, Warnetta Rory Lee, Arlene Harris, Mekhi Madison, Jayden Jackson, Keyon Gardin, Deonte’ Gardin, Darryl Roberts, Dante McGee, DeGenai Copeland, and others too numerous to mention. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Theresa Morrison and Jean Seals; grandfather Vernon J. Beasley Sr.; great-grandfather, Thomas Hardy; great-grandmother, Catherine Hardy; great-aunt, Linda McBeath; his love, Tasheona Oshell Jones; a host of other relatives.
