Mr. Bobby Lee Parks

PARKS, Mr. Bobby Lee - Age 68, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at his residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Saturday, April 4, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Saturday. Mr. Parks will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday. Mr. Bobby Lee Parks was born January 28, 1952 in Odessadale, Georgia, the son of Oscar and Rosa Parks. Bobby graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. He retired from General Motors Corporation. Bobby loved to fish, crack jokes. Bobby had a record shop called Blue Sawn. He loved to be around his family and friends. Mr. Bobby Lee Parks leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Sherry Meeks and Veronica (Michael) Johnston; grandchildren, Shontez (Ronell) Watson, Anniece Martin, Tionna and Tierra Weston, Carlos Milove Alexander the III, IV & V; 4 sisters, Ola Mae “Tulu” (Raymond) Johnson, Francis Calvert, Virginia Griggs and Lela Lovelace; brother, Mack Parks; a host of nieces including, Tonga, Josie, Hazel and Felicia; a host of nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Michael Recard, Clenzell Page, Loriene Meeks, Annie Martin, Dana Dunn, KaCetta Grear, Tina Gibbs, Melinda Parker, Nicole Mays and Phillip Mobley. Mr. Parks was preceded in death by his son, Joaquim Martin; parents, Oscar and Rosa Parks. ********At Lawrence E. A single indoor shared space includes but is not limited to a room, hall, cafeteria, auditorium, theater, or gallery. The prohibition on assemblages set forth in this section does not apply to: The prohibition set forth in this section does not abridge protections guaranteed by the state or federal constitution under these emergency circumstances.
