HATTER, Mr. Bobby Ray - Age 67, passed away, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI. Family hour 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Judah Full Gospel Baptist Church, 5380 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI with funeral service commencing at 12:00 p.m. Overseer Benny Stribling, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery G-4415 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Mr. Hatter will lie in state in the Chapel of the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Bobby Ray Hatter was born April 10, 1949 in Waco, Texas, the son of Sterling Hatter, Sr. and Pearl Slaughter. He was a resident of Flint, Michigan. Bobby was employed at MK Hair & Nail Salon, Spectrum Human Services and Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home. He enjoyed Ballroom Dancing. Bobby was a very outgoing and socializing person. He was well known in the community. Mr. Bobby Ray Hatter leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Lynette Hatter; 2 daughters, Porschea Redmond of Flint and Telia Hatter; 3 sons, Bobby Real of Detroit, MI, Jamero Hatter of Chicago, IL and Jewellian Redmond of Flint; 2 step-children, Damarius Hurt of Flint and Tameka Jones; 5 grandchildren, Bobby Real, Jr., Jared Real, Braylon Real, Styles Real, all of Detroit, MI and Ervin Marks III; mother, Dorothy Hatter; step-father, Robert Scott; 3 sisters, Emma (James) Wilbourn, Corrine Hatter and Helen Hatter; 6 brothers, Edward Hatter, Darryl Hatter, Tommy Hatter, Larry Hatter, Johnny Watson and Deret Guyton; 2 nieces, Erica Walker and Jamela Jefferson; nephew, Victor Terrell; 4 sisters-in-law, Monica (Gerald) Hurt-Davis, Patricia (Willie) Plair-McKenzie, Janet Faye (Charles) Hurt and Judy Hatter; brother-in-law, Ralph Dixon; special brother, Overseer Benny Stribling; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Mary “Pat” Parks-Deason, Rick Jordan, Marilyn Kissel and Cedric Freeman.
