Mr. Bobby Charles Boone

BOONE, Mr. Bobby Charles - Age 51, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2016 at Kith Haven Nursing Home. Family hour 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Christian Love Faith Center, 3202 Flushing Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:30 AM Pastor Timothy Hicks officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11:00 Am Wednesday. Mr. Boone will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home. There will be no public viewing. Mr. Bobby Charles Boone, aka as “Man”, aka “Bob Boone” was born December 24, 1964 in Flint, Michigan to Minnie Gray and Junior Boone. He graduated from Flint Central High School in 1982. He joined the United States Army in 1983 and was Honorably Discharged, he later worked at Dean’s County Fresh for 18 years until it closed. Bobby was always telling his hilarious jokes and singing. He loved Michael Jackson and Jeffrey Osborn to name a few. His most favorite thing to do was watch TV, especially Jeopardy. He also enjoyed hanging with his “partners in crime”, Freddie “Rock” Riddles, Carl Palmore, James Jones, Cliff Jones, Adolph “Big Dawg” Wright, Jimmy Bruner and Lonnie “Love Bug” Rice. Mr. Bobby Charles Boone leaves to cherish his memory: 4 sisters, June Boone, Deborah (Adolph) Wright, Sherri Boone and Linda Boone, all of Flint; 4 nieces, Starla Boone of Columbus, GA, Shajuanna (Kenyatta) Williams of Pine Bluff, AR, Ayana Boone and Ricca McKenzie; 4 nephews, Montez (DeAndra) Boone, Diondrae Boone, Levelle Boone and Jamarr McKenzie, all of Flint; 2 aunts, Wilma Brooks of Jackson, TN and Yvonne Gray of Indianapolis, IN; uncle, Clarence ( Sharon) Brooks of Jackson, TN; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Liz Franklin, Mark McClinton, Curtis Fields, Rick Buggs, The Country Fresh Crew, Greg Reid, Mark Platt, Jimmy Bruner, James Jones, Jeff Britt and Daricko Catron. Mr. Boone was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Minnie Boone; brother, Terry Boone; sister, Carolyn Boone; and the love of his life, fiancé, Kathy Herron. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Medical Center, Kith Haven Nursing Home family, Pastor Timothy Hicks and the Christian Love Faith Center family.
