COLLINS, Mrs. Bobbie Dean - Age 79, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at MediLodge of Grand Blanc, Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 317 E. Hamilton Ave., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Saturday. Mrs. Collins will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM -8:00 PM. Friday, with the family present from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM to receive friends. Bobbie Dean (Eans) Collins was born March 7, 1937 in Wabbaseka, Arkansas, the daughter of Lonnie & Bertha Eans. She graduated from Townsend Park High School, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. On March 20, 1954, Bobbie was joined in holy matrimony to Willie Odell Collins. To this union 6 children were born. Bobbie was an active member of Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of Canaan Baptist Church. She attended Sunday School, served on the Usher Board and formerly worked with the Youth Ushers. She was also formerly head of the Kitchen Ministry for 22 years. She loved to bowl. She was on three leagues prior to her illness. She was employed @ Hurley Medical Center until December 1971. She leaves to cherish her memories: 2 Daughters: Chenita (Duane) Holley; Tonika Collins-Moye; 3 Sons: Preston (Marie Reese) Collins, Maurice Collins and Monte’ (Yolanda) Collins, 23 Grandchildren: Johnnie (Jamila) Morris II, Marcus Morris, Preston Collins II , Asheen Lee, Patrick Collins II, Jeneyel (Brandon) Goines, Jalin Collins, Derikeo Hambrick, Markeene Reese, Maliyah Reese, Maurice Collins II, Porcia Collins, Alvin Moye Jr., Taj Moye, Taleah Moye, Melissa Clark, Keonte Payton, Shanique Collins, Jasmine Collins, Montevia Collins, Ronald Roland III, Renea Collins, Brooke Collins; 9 Great Grandchildren: J’Vonte Morris, Jordyn Morris, Jadyn Morris, Harmony Collins, A’miyah Lee, Ah’laya Lee, Taraya Goines, Laila Goines, Savannah Goines; Son-in-laws: Johnnie Morris and Alvin Moye. Godchildren: Nylar (Charles) Jupree and Milton Brown; 4 Sisters: Bertha Bell, Dannie Iverson, MaeBell Kendall and Betty Jean Gregory; 1 brother: McArthur Eans; 2 Sister-in-laws; Ethel Mae Thomas and Bernice Brooks; 1 Brother-in-law: Walter Collins. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of special friends including: Evelyne Brown, Lucy Luckett, Deacon Rufus (Frances) Duncan, Ophelia Boatwright, Nathaniel (Mahala) Battle, Bernice Dorris, Claudine (Walter) Lang, Jannette Jackson, Jennie Horne, and Geraldine Perkins.
