Mrs. Beverly Clark

CLARK, Ms. Beverly - Age 55, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Ms. Clark will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12 noon-8 p.m. Monday. Ms. Beverly Clark was born October 18, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Lee Edward and Josie Clark. She attended Flint Public Schools. Beverly loved to cook, barbeque, dancing, feeding everyone and caring for her grandchildren. She also loved to travel with her companion of 23 years, Dave Richardson. Anyone that knew her knew that her favorite singer was “the Godfather of Soul”, James Brown. Ms. Beverly Clark leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Tamika and KaTrina Clark; son, Antwan Quinney; companion, Dave Richardson all of Flint; grandchildren, Deshawn, Jaquevias, Jordan, Shawndrea, Shawndrekia, Kierra, Antonia, Quintarius, Anniyah, KaTrina and Anyasia; great-grandson, Kamari Brown; mother, Josie (Woodard) Clark; 4 sisters, Mary Jones of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jeanette Clark of Columbus, TN, Shirley (Robert) White and Roberta Clark; 3 brothers, Michael, Johnny and Robert (Margie) Clark, all of Flint; 9 nieces; 6 nephews; 3 aunts, Willie Woodard and Annie Woodard, both of Flint and Allylene (Cal) Evans of Jackson, MS; 2 uncles, Penell Woodard and Anderson Smith, both of Flint; a host of cousins including special cousin, Jackie Woodard; a host of other relatives and friends including, Brenda Taylor, Monique Russin, Patricia Jackson, Carolyn Jones, Mrs. Johnson., special nieces Tonya Rorie and Shaleena White and special friend, Taywann Johnson. Ms. Clark was preceded in death by her father, Lee Edward Clark; sister, Josie Lee Clark; grandparents, Pearl and Effie Woodard and Rufus and Leona Clark; aunt, Margaret Smith and uncles, Hugh Woodard and John Henry Clark. The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor Robert Burrell and the Holy Ghost Ministries Church family, Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart and the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church family, and the Anderson and Cooper families.
