McNEAL, Ms. Bernice (Collins) - Age 56, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at her residence. Family hour 10:30AM Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11AM, Rev. Arnold Lakes officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Tuesday. Ms. McNeal will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blv., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM. Ms. Bernice Berie McNeal lovely called “Queen B” was born January 9, 1952 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Ira and Rosetta Collins. Ms. McNeal lived in Flint her entire life. She was employed at A.C. Spark Plugs a division of General Motors and retired in 1996. Bernice loved going shopping, having and going to rummage sales, her favorite restaurant was “Captain Coty’s”. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family especially her grandkids, singing in the church choir as well as directing the choir. Ms. Bernice Bernie McNeal leaves to cherish special friend, George Cooper, Sr.; 2 daughters, Toshiba McNeal, Leroy (Johnny) Blade; 4 sons, Frederick (Portia) Collins, Sr., Aaron (Dine CIA) Collins, Sr., Corey McNeal and Frederick Collins, Jr.; 23 grandchildren, Frederick Jr., Kashondra, Kendall, Isaiah, Cherrise, Arron, Jr., Myky, Izayah, Dumari, Zarriah, Kevin, Jr., Felicia Collins of AL, Atearea Dixon, Allen Sanders, Ronika, Ronnie, Kejuan, Deasia, Devion, Leandra, Jalessa, Jasmine and Marquis; great-grandchild, Ta’Nyilah Galloway; sisters, Sweetie Vickers, Elizabeth Gates, Edna Jean Lenear of NY, Sylvonia Frith (Peaches) of Georgia, Dr. Angelete Lakes and Candy of Miami, FL; brothers, Alfred Chance of Florida and George Chance of Georgia; numerous of nieces; 4 nephews, Jerald (Mary) Vickers, Mitchel Vickers, Micheal Vickers and Warren (Lasonja) Southall, II; aunt, Pastor Ellean Wiggins; mother and father-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Leroy McNeal; brothers-in-law, Lonnie McNeal, Micheal McNeal, Larry McNeal and Dwayne McNeal; a host of other relatives and friends ex-husband, Leroy McNeal; cousins, William and Herman Byrd, Theotis Rozier, Austin Ave. Block Club and Neighbors, Kendra Collins, Monica Wilson of AL, Deandrelayfield, Reagen Riggs, Lane Family, Pastor Lakes Family, Lee Family and Bruce Blackman.
