WILSON, Ms. Barbara Roshell - affectionately known as "Barb" age 39, peacefully took flight from her earthly residence on Friday, February 15, 2008. Family hour 1:30PM Monday, February 18, 2008 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 2PM, Pastor Ira Edwards, officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, G-3415 E. Hill Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30PM Monday. Ms. Wilson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home. There will be no public viewing. Ms. Barbara Roshell "Barb" Wilson was born August 27, 1968 in Flint, Michigan to Robert Murl Wilson and Carolyn (Wilson) Jones. Barbara graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. She was a Substitute Para Professional and Bus Driver for the Flint Board of Education. Prior to Barbara's illness she was employed at Ai Flint Local #659 as a SC Crew Union Representative. Barbara was a beautiful young lady with a big heart who had a smile that would light up any room. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend. Barbara's life revolved around supporting and loving her family and providing for and taking care of "The Center of Her Joy", her son DeAris who meant the world to her. Barbara leaves to cherish her memories to carry on her legacy: son and the love of her life, DeAris Wilson of Flint; parents, Robert (Mary) Wilson of California, Carolyn (J.P.) Jones and Leonard Brown Sr.; 3 sisters, Sharon Wilson, all of Flint, Chelon Wilson of Tennessee, and Shawn Kersey of Georgia; 8 brothers, David Wilson, James (Nicole) McLaurin, David Kersey, Leonard "Putt" Jr., Andre and Renzellous Brown of Flint, Anthony Wilson of California and Fredrick Brown of Mt. Pleasant, MI; grandmother, Ertha Anderson of Mississippi; host of aunts including favorite aunts, Brenda (Odell) Moore of Grand Blanc, Early Mae (Alton) Coleman and Shirley Ann (Albert) Rand of Mississippi; a host of uncles including favorite uncles, Jimmy Ray, Billy and Anthony McLaurin of Mississippi; 4 nieces, Antonae, Ahyanna, Briyanna of Flint and Taylor of Grand Blanc; great-niece, Dominiece; 5 nephews, Mark, Brandon, Davion, David J. and David T.; great-nephew, Mark McLaurin, all of Flint; special cousin, companion and caregiver, Nita Coleman of Mississippi and special cousins, Charlene Jones and Rhonda (Anthony) Flourney of Flint; devoted loving friend, Curtis Fields; special friends, Terry, Toni, Monique, Lori, Tia, Mia, Cookie and goddaughter, Takyla.
