WILBANKS, Mrs. Barbara Ann - Age 68, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at her residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Monday, November 6, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Rev. John Jenkins, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 10:00 AM Monday. Mrs. Wilbanks will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday. Mrs. Barbara Ann Wilbanks was born September 27, 1955 in Flint, Michigan. She is the daughter of G W Vincent and Ruthie Mae Vincent. Barbara graduated from Flint Northern high School Class of 1973 in Flint, Michigan. Barbara met Willie Wilbanks and joined him in marriage for 46 years. Barbara was employed for Beecher School District for 20 years. Barbara was the Matriarch of her family. She loved and was loved, cherished and respected by so many. She was a caring caregiver to her family throughout generations. She took care of her family and grandchildren and she had an open-door policy. She helped any and everyone in need. Barbara had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, sister, auntie, grandmother and friend. Barbara believed in the lord and accepted Christ at an early age. Barbara was a member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church. She loved hosting family gatherings, having everything organized and making memories for the family. She also loved to travel, visiting her mother in which she loved dearly. Barbara enjoyed going to the casino and taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her great-grandchildren and grocery shopping. Barbara leaves to cherish her loving husband, Willie Wilbanks of Flint, MI; daughters, Tina Adams and Tonya (Kevin) James; sons, Glen Vincent of Mt. Morris, MI, Willie Wilbanks, Jr. of Knoxville, TN, Duyonn Vincent, Lonnie Thompson and Towan Blair all of Flint, MI; daughters in love, Jamila Vincent, Erika Jenkins, Terriya Wright, Maya Price, Jenelle Moore, Lora Tate, Leslie Thompson and Deandra Croom; grandchildren, Towan Blair, Jr., Jordan Price, Glen Vincent, Jr., Joseph Wilbanks, Michael Vincent Malik Wilbanks Tyrell Walker, Kevin James, Jr. all of Mt.
