BAKER, Mrs. Barbara A. - Age 51, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at POH Medical Center in Pontiac, MI. Family hour 10AM Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Southeast Christian Church of the Apostolic Faith, G-4171 Lapeer Rd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Eld. Kenneth Brown officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 E. Bristol Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10AM Saturday. Mrs. Baker will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Mrs. Barbara A. Baker was born March 3, 1954 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of James and Lucille Campbell. She was employed as a supervisor at General Motors Corporation with 28 years of service; earning a supervision recognition reward. Mrs. Baker was President of the Booster Club at Hamady High School, Vice President of L.Z.L.B. Production, Travel Coordinator of the Motor City Suns Girl Basketball Team, President of the Gospel Street Records, Advertising Coordinator of several musical plays including, "Moma Don't " and "Wicked Ways". She also loved traveling. Mrs. Barbara A. Baker leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Larry Baker; 2 sons, Terran (Crystal) Hairston of Jacksonville, FL, and Terrell Hairston of Flint (their father, Terry Hairston); 2 daughters, Laura and Brandie Baker, both of Flint; granddaughter, Tiana Hairston of Jacksonville, FL; mother, Lucille Campbell of Flint, grandparents, Jack and Neta Poole; sister, Evelyn Keahey of Montrose, MI; 3 brothers, Larry Campbell of Flint, Kirk Campbell of Belfast, TN, Bruce Campbell of Pittsburgh, PA; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; mother-in-law, Lizzie Baker; sisters-in-law, Wanda Campbell of Flint, Jeanean Campbell of Pittsburgh, PA, Pearlie Allen, Gloria Smith, Julia Brown, Deliah Baker, Linda (James) Mance, Linetta (Gideon) Williams; and brothers-in-law, John Keahey of Montrose, MI, Richard (JoAnn) Baker, Taylor Baker, and Kelvin (Darlin) Baker; many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her father, James Campbell.
