ADKISSON, Ms. Asia Domonique - Age 32, passed Sunday, September 30, 2018 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, October 13, 2018 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 10:00 AM Saturday. Ms. Adkisson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday. Ms. Asia Domonique Adkisson was born June 26, 1986 to Dana Michelle Adkisson and Clifford S. Hooker in Flint, Michigan of Genesee County. She attended Flint Central High School and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. “Class of 2005”. After graduating, Asia furthered her education at Mott Community College, Culinary Arts program. While attending Mott and following her passion of caring for people, Asia also worked at Mercy plus Home Healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor, joyful laugh, and beautiful smile. Asia enjoyed mimicking her favorite movies and TV shows; especially comedy shows. She also enjoyed cooking, singing, searching the web, and writing poetry in her spare time. Asia was one of the most caring, tender-hearted, and compassionate people one could ever know. She touched the lives and hearts of everyone she met. Her passionate time spent with family and friends will truly be missed, but Asia will never be forgotten. Ms. Asia Domonique Adkisson leaves to cherish her memory: son, Deondra Lamont Williams; daughter, Parris Asiã Hawkins; parents, Dana M. Adkisson and Clifford S. Hooker; grandmother, Sharon A. Adkisson; sisters, Chionna Adkisson and Zakkiyah Hooker; brothers, Damion Adkisson and Clifford Hooker Jr.; aunts, Marlisa Hooker, Mya Adkisson, Aunt Terri, and Marjorie Adkisson; uncles, James W. Adkisson III, Steve Hooker, Errol Hooker and Charles Adkisson; a host of cousins including special cousins, Terrence Adkisson Jr. and Kiarra Cox; god-daughter, Chaquetta Plunkett; and many other beloved relatives and friends including special friends, Brandon Tims, Elon and Alon Gildersleeve, Shanita Jenkins and Titianna Kemp. Ms. Adkisson was preceded in death by her grandmother, Eydie Hooker; grandfathers, Berry Hooker and James W. Adkisson Jr.; and uncle, Terrence L.
