PATRICK, Mr. Arnold - Age 70, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Hurley - Flint. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, August 14, 2026, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Pastor George Wilkinson, officiating. Friends and family will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Friday. Mr. Patrick will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, with family present 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Thursday. Arnold Patrick “A.P.” was born July 1, 1956, in Flint Michigan. The youngest and only son of four children born in the union of E.P. Patrick and Georgia Ferrell of Forest Mississippi. A.P., throughout his life practiced what he was taught by his mentor, Georgia Lee, that “family must come first” and “do more and say less and God will handle the rest.” A.P. Continued his education after high school and received his Associate Degree from Washtenaw Community College in Health Services (Respiratory Therapy) and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Detroit Mercy College. A.P. worked a combined 48 years as a Supervisor at VW assembly plant in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, Staff Respiratory Therapist at St. Joseph and Genesys Hospitals, the Flint Police Department, where A.P. served in various capacities such as, Flint PD Dignitary Unit, COPS Division, Special Operations Drug Unit, FBI Safe Street Task Force Unit, Genesee County Sheriff Drug Unit Team, Courts Officer, ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) Task Force and was FPD‘s First Ofc. assigned to the US Marshals Fugitive Apprehension Team. Arnold Patrick “A.P.” leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Brielle Walker; grandchildren, Calliea, Kain and Jorrgia; uncle, Fate (Rebecca) Ferrell; sisters, Deborah (0llie) Morgan, Wanda (Tyrone) Lynn, Paula (Glenn) Gardner; niece, D’Atra; nephew, Austyn; and a host of special friends and cousins including, the Donaldson family, Chimene Hill, Clinton Scott, Vincent Stallings, and William Turner. The family would like to express Gods special blessings and thanks to Cherelle N. Green.
