Mr. Antwione Donyell Gentry

GENTRY, Mr. Antwione - Age 46, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 1:30 PM Thursday, January 20, 2022, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:30 PM. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Thursday. Mr. Gentry will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday.Mr. Antwoine Donyelle Gentry was born on May 16th, 1975, in Flint, Michigan, the son of John Gentry and Maidie Hairston-Flenard. He graduated from Kearsley High School in 1994. Antwoine (Donyelle) loved spending time with his children, loved playing video games and will be remembered for his jokes and sense of humor. He was always looking for investment in real estate. Mr. Antwoine Donyelle Gentry leaves to celebrate his life and cherishing his memory: 2 sons, Quavon Dashon, and Quavion Donyell Gentry, both of Flint; 3 daughters, TwanJha Danielle Gentry of Arlington, TX, Nylell Gentry of Atlanta, GA and Queonna Leshay Brown of Flint; mother, Maidie Hairston-Flenard; father, John Lee Gentry; grandmother, Hattie Hairston of Flint; sister, Yolandria Gentry; 2 step-brothers; 2 step-sisters; 4 uncles, Dallis (Harriett) Hairston of Lithonia GA, Ronald (Odella) Hairston of Grand Blanc, MI, Calvin (Karen) Gentry of Atlanta, GA and Melvin Gentry of Charlotte, NC; 5 aunts, Sherry (Johnny) Moore, Gwendolyn (Andree) Hicks, all of Flint Township, MI, Mary Joy Gentry- McDill and Phyliss Gentry-Winchester, both of Conyers, GA, and Charlene Mills of Lithonia, GA; great uncle, LeRoy Malone; 4 great-aunts, Ms. Lucy Ann Malone, both of Crawford, Mrs. Ronea Benson, Mrs. Ella Branford, both of Flint, and Mrs. Augusta Brown of Detroit, MI; and a host numerous cousins, relatives and friends; special cousin/uncle (brothers) Karanis Evans, Ronald Hairston, Chris Crawford Jr. and Andre Felix Antwoine was preceded in death by his stepfather, William (Bill) Flenard; grandparents, Dallis B. Hairston, John & Gladys Gentry, sister, Charlotte Nelson; 4 aunts, Sandra McNeal, Beatrice Carol Vance, Hilda Fraser and Faith Price; special great-uncle, John Malone.
