HOLLIMAN, Mr. Anthony L. - Age 48 passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Banner Estrella Medical Center. Family hour 11:30 AM Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 424 Kennelworth Ave., with funeral service commencing at 12:00 PM Pastor Jevon Catlett Presiding Rev. Duane Kelley, Eulogist. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11:30 AM Saturday. Mr. Holliman will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday with family present from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM to receive friends. Mr. Anthony L. Holliman was born August 21, 1974 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Carolyn and Paul Holliman. Anthony accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Flint Northwestern High School and graduated in 1993. After graduation he attended Barber College in Flint. Anthony was employed by Fast Finance before moving to Arizona. After moving to Arizona, his employment was with Simon Med Imaging. He married the love of his life, Tracy Butler in September of 2009. Anthony and the love of his life were blessed with Dekarion, and in addition to their union, they were blessed with Aniyah. His first love was his family. To know him was to love him. Anthony was the “Barbecue Master”. He learned his skills from his granddaddy, Kelley. Mr. Anthony L. Holliman leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Tracy Butler-Holliman; son, Dekarion Butler; daughter, Aniyah Holliman; mother, Carolyn Holliman; brother, Kevin (Rachel) Holliman; sister, Catrina Douglas and Paula Holliman, all of Flint; a host of nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins; brothers-in-law, Fredrick Butler of Flint and Derrick Butler of Phoenix, AZ; god-daughter, Rayna Smith; god-sons, Amere and Amarr Blake; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Derrell Blake. Mr. Holliman was preceded in death by his father, Paul Holliman; maternal grandparents, Marion and Hazel Kelley; paternal grandfather, Johnnie Holliman; paternal grandmother, Ida Bell Holliman; mother-in-law, Patricia Butler; cousin, Melvin Kelley Jr.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
