Mrs. Annie Beatrice Hiler

HILER, Mrs. Annie Beatrice - Age 75, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at True Hope Full Gospel Christian Church, 609 E. Jamieson St., with funeral service commencing at 12:30 p.m. Rev. Roger Hodges officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the church 11:30 a.m. Monday. Mrs. Hiler will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Annie B. Hiler “Dollie Ann” was born March 28, 1940 in Blue Springs, Mississippi, the daughter of Virgia and W.O. McWhorter. She was a resident of Flint, Michigan. Annie enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning and freezing fresh vegetables. She loved taking care of her children which meant everything to her. Annie was a friend to anyone that needed one. She had a heart of gold and was one of the best cooks you’ll ever meet. Annie loved to cook and watch people enjoy the food she had prepared with love. Mrs. Annie B. Hiler “Dollie Ann” leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Sonji (Stefan) Teer of Flint and Teresa (Jason) Channels of Ohio; 2 sons, Keith (Angie Johnson) Hyler of Arizona and Kenneth (Venita) Hiler of Flint; 10 grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Kordiante’, Amia and Keaton Hyler, all of Arizona, Christion, Ryanne and Camran Hiler, all of Flint, Jason II and Justus Channels, both of Ohio; 2 great-grandchildren, Giovanni and Mia Johnson, both of Arizona; sister, Verline (Joe) Bedford of Wisconsin; brother, Rev. Marvin (Celia) McWhorter of Mississippi; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; 3 sisters-in-law, Maggie, Barbara and Jenette McWhorter, all of Wisconsin; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Valeria Hawkins, Gwendolyn Nesbit, Ernestine Bradley, Mabeline Carter, Bill and Bernell Hiler. Mrs. Hiler was preceded in death by her parents, Virgia and W.O. McWhorter; sister, Alberta Graham; brothers, James, Fred, Bernie (Tom), Bora (Sack) and Murdice (Pete) McWhorter. The family would like to express special thanks to Lawrence E.
