Ms. Ann Tonett Patrick

PATRICK, Ms. Ann Tonett - age 53, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 12 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1035 E. Carpenter Rd. with funeral service commencing at 1 p.m. Pastor Patrick W. Sanders, Sr. Host Pastor, Pastor Malik Shabazz officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 12 p.m. Saturday. Ms. Patrick will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Ms. Ann Tonett Patrick was born December 16, 1960 in Flint, MI. The daughter of Jeanette Williams and the late Vernell Williams, Sr. Ann attended Beecher High School and later married and moved to Norfolk, VA, for 6 years. She then moved back to Flint to be with family and friends. Ann worked at Swartz Creek and Peirce Park Golf Course for the City of Flint. She loved going to the casino, spending time with her grandchildren, and shopping. She was always someone you could count on and at every family function she would have the jello that kept you mellow. Ms. Ann Tonett Patrick leaves to cherish her memory; 3 sons, DeJuan (Keisha) Patrick of Clearwater, FL, Junis (Kelly) Patrick, and Markell (Ashley) Toole, both of Flint; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her mother, Jeanette Williams; 2 brothers, Vernell (Marsha) Williams Jr., and Darnell Williams, both of Flint; 3 nephews; 1 aunt, Rita Mae Parks; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends: Devoris Rice, Gloria Cohill, Tina Summers, Vickie Kincaid, Thelia Winston, Mystie Summers, Davina Cohill (God sisters), and special aunt, Rita Parks. Ms. Ann Tonett Patrick was preceded in death by: her father, Vernell Williams; grandmother, Ula Mae Blue; grandfather, Johnny Blue; aunt, Mary Louise Blue; and God Children, Perry Manuel and Brenin Washington. The family would like to express special thanks to Evelyn Hughes, Gloria Cohill, Sherry Cooper, Patrica Cobb, Thalia Winston, The New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, and Reverend Malik Shabazz.
