Mr. Andre Redwine

REDWINE, Mr. Andre - age 43, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Monday. Mr. Redwine will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Andre Redwine was born October 3, 1970 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Evelyn Jean Redwine and Frank Nash. He attended Flint Public Schools and was employed at McGhee Auto Body Collision. Mr. Redwine loved spending time with his family and friends; he also enjoyed playing dominoes and spades. Mr. Andre Redwine leaves to cherish his memory; son, DeAndre Redwine; mother, Evelyn Jean Redwine; step-father, Melvin Gray, all of Flint; 2 sisters, Demetris Davis of Mt. Morris, MI, and Patrice Redwine (Michael) Shumate of Grand Blanc, MI; 2 step-brothers, Jacoby Holliday, and Reese Kemp, both of Flint; nieces, Sierra Frye of Flint, Kakisha Redwine, and China Davis, both of Mt. Morris, Latrice Shumate of Grand Blanc, MI and Kisswanna Redwine of Clarksville, TN; 2 nephews, Deonte Redwine of Mt. Morris, MI, and Derrick DeAndre Redwine of Grand Blanc, MI; 3 aunts, Charlotte “Gale” Redwine (Carl), Joanne (Antonio) Berry, and Thelma Redwine, all of Flint; 3 great aunts, Cleveann Posey, and Virginia Redwine, both of Mt. Morris, MI and Thelma Redwine of Birmingham, AL; 5 uncles, Jerome, and Gregory, both of Flint, Melvin Wayne (Terry) Redwine of Detroit, MI, Keith Nash of City of Industry, California and Eleazer Jr. of Michigan; 2 great uncles, Willie Lee Redwine and James Belk, both of Flint; a host of cousins too many to name; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Derrick Mayfield and Darryl “Bo” McGee, the Mayfield, Arnold, Allen, and Cager families. Mr. Redwine was preceded in death by his father; Frank Nash; brothers, Derrick Redwine and Calvin Sibley; grandparents, Louise Redwine (John) Crowder and Eleazer “Squeeze” Redwine, Sr.; great grandparents, Bennie and Berda Walls, Cleveland Davis, George, Thelma and Leola Redwine; uncles, Archie, Larry, Roderick “Van” and Douglas Redwine; great uncle, Archie “Baby Brother” Davis; niece, Nicole Tyler, and a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
