FRANKLIN, Miss Amiyah Ta'nyi - Age 14, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church, G-5443 N. Saginaw St., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Demetrius Hunter, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2025. Miss Franklin will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Amiyah Tanyi Franklin was born on May 19, 2010, to Shaquetta Hunter & Tiawan Franklin, who raised her with boundless love, care, and guidance. From an early age, Amiyah was a bright, energetic, and compassionate young soul who brought joy and light to everyone she met. Whether through her infectious laughter, her creativity, or her ability to make anyone feel special, Miyah had a way of touching hearts. She was a true force of nature, never afraid to speak her mind, and stand up for what she believed in. Miyah was a student at Holmes Stem Academy of Flint, MI where she excelled not only academically but also as a leader among her peers. Amiyah loved eating noodles, Cheetos sandwiches, Hot Cheetos, Slim Jims and seafood boils. She loved going to the park and hanging with her friends. Her passion was for music, dancing, making tik-toks videos, experimenting with press-on nails, doing hair, going shopping and being with her family. She dreamed of becoming a Cosmetologist and her ambition was only surpassed by the kindness she showed to everyone. Miyah’s love for her family and friends was undeniable. She shared a special bond with her siblings Miciah, Gabrielle and Sincere. She always looked out for them and creating memories that will last a lifetime. She was deeply loved by her extended family, including her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, who cherished every moment with her. Miyah had a gift for bringing people together, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but the impact she had on all who knew her will live on. We take comfort in knowing that Amiyah's spirit will continue to guide and watch over us, her laughter and love echoing in our hearts forever. Though Amiyah is no longer with us physically, she will forever remain a part of all who loved her. We will carry her memory in our hearts and live each day inspired by the bright, passionate, and loving young woman she was.
