SPEARMAN, Mr. Alvin Louis "Bozo" Sr., - Age 72, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 AM Wednesday. Mr. Spearman will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday. Mr. Alvin Louis Spearman Sr. was born November 12, 1945 in Doddridge, Arkansas, the son of James and Bennie Spearman. He was a resident of Flint, Michigan. Alvin was retired from Flint Truck & Bus, a division of General Motors. He was also employed at several car washes in Flint. Alvin enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and playing Horseshoes. He didn’t mind helping people. Alvin loved watching cowboy movies, Steve Harvey, Wendy Williams, gospel and Lebron James. His favorite was cigars. Mr. Alvin Louis Spearman Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Gloria Spearman of Flint; 5 daughters, Shasta “Boo” Spearman, Diamond “Alexis” Edwards, Rhonda Spearman-Johnson, Kayla Spearman and Diedra Griffin; 4 sons, Alvin Spearman Jr., Kalvin Spearman Sr., Kameron and Brandon Spearman; 3 step-children, Kamika Clemons, Antonio Clemons and Paul Hudson-Clemons; 6 grandchildren, Kalvin Spearman Jr., Kendrick Spearman, Teron “Squirt” Robbs, Nemiya “Grandmaw” Wilson, Taylor Johnson and Brandon Carr; sister, Connie L. Vaughan; 3 brothers, Ray Spearman, Calvin Spearman Craig E. Spearman; 1 niece; 2 nephews; 5 aunts, Bertha Lee Prather, Ione Larry, Lela Harris, Maerenna Turner and Bonnie Mae Haley; mother and father-in-law, Joe and Helen Clemons; 3 brothers-in-law, Joe Clemons Jr., Roscoe Vaughan and Richard Clemons; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Mr. Steve, Tiggs, Dick Payne, William Smith, Charles Sumpter, Cottrell Evans, Saginaw Charlie Froster.
