Mrs. Alana Sue Lange

LANGE, Mrs. Alana - Age 71, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at her residence. Public Viewing will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at The Bridge Ministries, G-3326 Corunna Rd., in the Carman Plaza in Flint MI., from 10:00 AM, with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM, Pastor Nick Heit, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the Church 10:00 AM Saturday. Alana "Sue" Lange age 71 passed away suddenly in her sleep at her residence on June 6th 2022. Sue was born in Flint, Michiga on July 30th 1950 to Alonzo W. and Neena B. Austin, she was the youngest of eleven children. Sue grew up in the Flint/Kearsley area where she met Steven K. Lange, they married and had four children (Heather, Steven, Heidi, and Holly) Alana loved her family, friends, and church community, she valued every moment she spent with them. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was so happy to find out she would soon be a great grandmother. She loved going to bingo, beaches, parks, and spending Sunday’s at church, and with family playing Spades and Euchre. She especially loved holidays and dressing for Halloween. Sue was also an avid Michigan fan and loved watching the Michigan vs. Michigan State game with Steve every year as the house was divided. Always the life of everything, Alana was a social butterfly and made a friend wherever she went. She loved joking and pranking family and just putting a smile on anyone's face. She was always full of energy and willing to help anyone in need. She loved helping her community as she volunteered a lot of her time at The Clothes Closet, The salvation army, Crapo center, and at her church home, The Bridge. Left to cherish Sue's memory are her husband, Steven K. Lange; children, Heather Anderson, Steven K. Lange II and his wife Kelly; grandchildren, Ryan Foreman, Alvena Bullock, Julia Bullock, Alana Anderson, Kendellan Gottshalk, Trevor Gottshalk, Kennedy Gottshalk, Giovanni Lange, and Kai'Ana Lange; her sister, Wanda; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; Alanzo and Neena Austin, daughters; Heidi and Holly Lange , Grand daughter; Neena Larae Anderson. And siblings; Gary, Doug, Richard, Helen, Rhea, Sandra, Janice, Loren, and Melba.
