DAVIS, Mr. Akhir Jamir - Age 22, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Monday, April 14, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Gracelawn Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Monday. Mr. Davis will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday. Mr. Akhir Jamir Davis was born June 18, 2002 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Michelle Davison and Stephen Davis. Akhir was a free spirit who brought joy and energy to everyone around him. Akhir had a deep love for music and dancing, always the first to turn up the volume and move to the rhythm. Whether it was hanging out with his mom, dad, brothers, making his little sister laugh, or spending time with his close friends, he was happiest surrounded by those he loved. His laughter was contagious, and his presence lit up every room. Akhir attended Flint Public Schools had a heart full of dreams and a soul full of passion. His kindness, humor, and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Mr. Akhir Jamir Davis leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Michelle Davison and Stephen Davis; grandfather, Clarence Davison; sister, Michelle Davis; 3 brothers, Quevonn Davison, Darius Davison and Jermaine Davison; newly arrived niece, Persia Davison; 5 aunts, Lashawnda Davison, Jewel Washington, Patricia Henry, Claressa Shields and Brianna Shields; 3 uncles, Jasmin Davison, Clarence Davison and Derek Leigh; great-aunt, Teresa Smith; great-uncle, Leodis Johnson; 8 cousins, Haven Davison, Christopher Davis, Markee Davis, Rodney Davis, Maurice Davis, Charmaine Davis, Marcus Washington and Zoria Hawkins; special cousins, Ciara Johnson and Octavis Jordan; a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by grandparents, LeRhonda Davison, Eddie and Jimmie Mae Davis, Marvin Reeves; aunts and uncles, Latrisha Johnson, Leroy Johnson, Sammie Diltz, Larry Davis, Eddie Davis Jr., Tawanna Davis and a host of other relatives.
