Mr. Adrain Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Mr. Adrain - Age 29, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, February 20, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd., Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 10:00 AM Saturday. Mr. Mansfield will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday. Mr. Adrain Mansfield was born May 4, 1991 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Serena Crocket McCrady and Tyrone Mansfield Sr. Adrain graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 2009.” After which he attended the University of Michigan studying in the field of Nursing. He went on to become the Co-Founder and and CEO of Careactors-R-Us working with disabled people in hospitals and nursing homes. Also, he worked with Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club with his granddaddy and several other establishments. Adrain loved basketball, being around family and friends. He had a very contagious laugh. Mr. Adrain Mansfield leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Maranda Mansfield; 2 daughters, Aniyah Mansfield and Ky’Lynne Sarai Merritt; parents, Serena Crockett McCrady and Tyrone Mansfield Sr.; step-father, William McCrady; grandfather, Joseph Crockett Sr.; 2 sisters, Anna Mansfield and Desirae Glatfelter; 3 brothers, Latreale Crockett, Tyrone (Kristi) Mansfield and Deontray Crockett; 3 nieces, Aranae, Keki and Kassadi Mansfield; 4 nephews, Deari, Deontrey Jr., Ty-Shawn Mansfield and Leondray; several aunts and great-aunts including, Priscilla Crockett, Antionett Winters, Deborah Harris Simpson, Helen Love, Stephaine Bartley, Edith Withey and Mattie Crockett; 4 uncles, Joseph (Jeanie) Crockett Jr., Tarrell (Darlene) Crockett, Antoine Crockett and Rev. Dr. Earnest L. Harris; a host of cousins including, Larhonda, Ashley, John, Jasmine, Charles, Isaiah, Michael, Brandon, Arius, Jessica, Jeremaine, Rhonda, Antione, Brittany, Sir Antonio; mother and father-in-law, Edward Bell and Latasha Coleman; brothers-in-law, Rodney Smith, Edward Bell and Jacolby Neal; sisters-in-law, Marcedes Bell, Mariya Coleman Deborah and Helen; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Mrs. Gurline Overton and family, Grace of God Ministries and Joy Tabernacle Congregation. Mr. Mansfield was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Annie M. Crockett and Willie M. Wilson.
