BROWN, Mr. Johnathan "John John" "Jay-B" - Age 26, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Riverside Tabernacle, 429 Nb. Chavez Dr., with funeral service commencing at 12 p.m. Pastor Tom Mattiuzzo Host Pastor, Elder Donnell Cornelius Officiating. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11:30 a.m. Mr. Brown will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. Friday. Johnathan Brown was born October 18, 1988 in Flint, Michigan, born the son of Cheryl Brown (Donnell Cornelius) and James Holland. Johnathan Brown was member of Empowered Believers.He graduated from Carman-Ainsworth High School in 2006. Johnathan was a member of the Kudos and was sergeant at arms. He attended Wayne State University for two years. He also attended Mott Community College automotive program. Johnathan Brown joined the Navy and received an honorable discharge. Johnathan was a loving and devoted father to Johnathan Brown Jr. He was a hard worker and was employed at a General Motors parts shop AI industry. His favorite scripture he lived by is II Thessalonians 3:10 “if any would not work, neither should he eat”. Johnathan Brown leaves to cherish his memory: loving Son, Johnathan J.
